Akshay Awasthi is India’s ranked 3rd Ethical Hacker for the year 2016 and one of the country’s leading Information Security & Cyber Crime Consultant. The young and dynamic Akshay has not only assisted in solving complicated cyber crime cases but has also played a key role in spreading awareness about information security and cyber crimes in India. Akshay has trained more than 8000 personnel globally which include students from various fields, professionals from companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Intel etc and cyber security personnel. 

Akshay serves as the mentor for DiGi Infy and has helped the expansion of company’s business in India. He is one of the most famous and influential figures in cyber security in India. Akshay has served as a consultant for various state and federal law-enforcement agencies across India. Akshay is currently involved in a Internet of Things research project at Norwich University, Northfield, VT, U.S.A.


  1. Akshay currently serves as the Research Lead for Internet of Things Forensics Lab at Norwich University Center for Advanced Computing and Digital Forensics.

  2. Akshay also serves as the Cyber Specialist for the Peace & War Center at Norwich University.

  3. Akshay was also a part of Norwich University’s “Peer2Peer Challenging Extremism” national champions team.
